David Crowder Band with Scott & Audrey
Scott and I have searched for resources that we hope will be as helpful to you as they were (and still are) to us. Sometimes it is just the words of a Christian song that tugs at our hearts and lets us know that we will be okay with God who strengthens us. Here are a few songs that we found to be the most comforting:
1. David Crowder Band - David Crowder Band - Never Let Go
Although numerous tests revealed there was no medical reason to be found, we just trust that Jesus is holding Katelyn and that gives us comfort to know that she is safe. To make a long story short, I wrote a letter to Katelyn that was read at her service and “Never Let Go” was the thought that kept going through my mind. That song by DCB has helped me through this more than you can imagine. I know that Jesus will never let go of us just like he will never let go of Katelyn.
2. John Waller - John Waller - While I’m Waiting
Waiting on the Lord is sometimes very difficult until you accept that everything will happen in God’s time. Until such time when God blesses us with another child, we have chosen to serve Him through sharing our story and offering the hope only God can bring to other parents who have lost their babies.
